Marga Agriculture is one of Margaraja’s programs promoting the principles of organic farming, from cultivating the soil to growing crops, as well as raising livestock for human daily consumption. This includes the preparation of plant and animal products for people to purchase and consume at our Marga’s Organic markets branches.
Our vision is to focus on a healthy balance concept with a principle of growing plants naturally with no chemical substances such as synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and animals can be raised in an open farming environment. With this healthy balance concept, we emphasize on the importance of sustainable and eco-friendly practices, ensuring that the food produced is high quality and benefits both human health and the environment.

In Marga Agriculture, we particularly focus on growing organic crops and use only natural fertilizers – materials such as manure, ground bones, wood ash, fish or fish parts, and bird and bat waste called guano to replenish or increase nutrients in the soil. With this method, we can enhance soil fertility to breed strong varieties of crops.
Together with the lead of our Royal Bumi, we work together with Marga Agriculture scientists, nutritionists, and engineers focusing on studying, designing, and developing products and solutions, specializing in employing natural pest control methods, and promoting biodiversity for crops, livestock, and food production. We aim to provide consumers with ethically sourced nutrient-rich vegetables and healthier meat, eggs, and dairy products.
